The Roxy Young Company Act 1

Act 1: IMAGINE

Act 1 will teach the basics of theatre while focusing on exploring movement, singing and acting. Each week we will work on a new song and dance to perform and record the last week. *All programming will be virtual. Wednesdays 4-6pm. January 16- February 24

The Roxy Young Company is a dedicated theatre troop intended to give youth an opportunity to develop theatre skills, gain a sense of belonging, and produce a live show on the Roxy stage. Our Roxy Youth Program Coordinator leads the Roxy Young Company and is supported by the Owen Sound Little Theatre staff and volunteers. Youth participating will work hard learning theatre skills, having fun, gaining confidence, being creative, and creating a community. Auditions are held for key roles after Act 1 of the season but all participants will support the production in various areas be it production, stage management, technical areas, or performance.
